Maze: Alpha
A downloadable Maze for Windows and Linux
Maze (Alpha): can you find your way out?
Welcome to the Maze, a place for anyone who wants to find their way out, and for anyone who'd rather take on a good old-fashioned challenge armed with a shield and an axe (let's be honest, axes are really cool).
For now, the game manages to keep you entertained for 40 minutes or more, during which you can lose yourself in the maze and find your own way out. The two difficulty levels currently available are Easy and Normal:
- Easy: Explore the maze freely, take your time, and enjoy a good puzzle
-Normal: The maze doesn’t change, but you won’t be alone anymore. Face whatever you find within those walls and use power-ups, but be careful, with every death, the timer increases
A Unique Experience Every Time
The Maze is built from many different blocks, each with its own paths and dead ends waiting for you as you try to escape. Currently there are 1,024 possible block combinations, and version 0.1.0 is planned to bring that to over 2,000,000,000.
Improve Every Time
Replayability is the key idea behind this game. A different maze every run isn't enough: you also need a real challenge, in both Easy and Normal modes. And there is no better opponent than yourself. Experiment, test your skills, and push past your own limits by racing against the built-in timer.
